China News Service, Shanghai, July 15 (Reporter Jiang Yu) The 31st East China Import and Export Fair (China Fair), which lasted for four days, closed on the afternoon of December 15. According TO PRELIMINARY STATISTICS, THE FAIR ATTRACTED buyers from 119 countries and regions, with more than 35,000 domestic and foreign businessmen attending the fair, and the transaction volume reached 2.18 billion US dollars.

The exhibition area of the fair is 105,200 square meters, with four professional theme exhibitions of clothing, textile and fabric, household goods and decorative gifts, as well as two professional exhibition areas of overseas exhibition and cross-border e-commerce exhibition.

This session of China FAIR gives full play to the regional advantages and enterprise expertise of the host provinces and cities, overcomes various adverse factors in the international and domestic markets, and promotes and builds the joint development of foreign trade in East China. At the same time, with the continuous improvement of the influence of China Fair, enterprises outside east China actively participate in the exhibition. During the exhibition, a large number of high-quality export products competed on the stage, stabilizing the “basic plate” of this year’s China Fair export transactions. In this year’s China Fair, the organizers held 6 procurement matchmaking meetings and 900 rounds of on-site negotiations, including 4 “face-to-face” offline fairs, including Japanese buyers, decoration and gifts, textile and clothing and household goods. Buyers came from 34 countries and regions such as Japan, Germany, India and Pakistan. Two “screen-to-screen” online fairs were held, including a special session for RCEP and a special session for European and American buyers, with buyers from 21 countries and regions including Russia, Singapore, Malaysia and South Korea respectively, helping customers who did not attend the exhibition to conduct online negotiations, effectively shortening the “trade distance”.
